Wall mounting with wall bracket

Required tools:

  • drill
  • spirit level
  • Pencil
  • folding ruler or measuring tape
  • Possibly a metal detector (for locating cables)

✅ Included in delivery: Special universal dowels and screws suitable for almost all common substrates (concrete, solid brick, hollow brick, aerated concrete, plasterboard/plasterboard).

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Check the wall condition
First, check what material your wall is made of. The included universal wall plugs are suitable for most common wall types.

  • Concrete and solid brick
  • Hollow bricks/aerated concrete
  • Plasterboard/plasterboard (pay attention to load-bearing capacity!)

⚠️ Important: Make sure that there are no power or water lines running through the desired location.

2. Mark position
Hold the wall bracket in the desired position and mark the drill holes with a pencil. Use a spirit level to ensure the bracket is aligned straight.

3. Drill holes
Drill the marked holes according to the dowel size (8 × 50 mm). Ensure the correct drilling depth.

4. Insert universal dowels
Insert the supplied universal wall plugs into the drilled holes and carefully tap them flush with the wall using a hammer.

5. Attach the wall bracket
Secure the wall bracket (called French cleat rail or Z-rail) firmly to the wall using the supplied screws (5 × 50 mm).

6. Hang the stone slab
Carefully hang the natural stone slab in the wall bracket. The slab should be secure and firmly in place.

Alternative wall mounting without wall brackets

If you did not order a wall mount, you can also attach the stone slab directly to the wall using construction adhesive or tile adhesive.

Materials needed:

  • Construction adhesive or tile adhesive (suitable for natural stone)
  • spirit level
  • Pencil
  • Water for cleaning the wall surface and the back of the panels

Important instructions:

⚠️ Attention:

  • Once glued, the panel is very difficult to remove.
  • The verification of the substrate's load-bearing capacity and suitability must be carried out by the customer.
  • Make sure the surface is clean, dry, load-bearing and free of dust.
  • Follow the adhesive manufacturer's processing instructions.

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Prepare the surface
Clean the wall surface thoroughly and ensure that it is dry, sound and free of dust, grease or loose particles.

2. Mark position
Mark the desired position of the stone slab with a pencil and use the spirit level for a straight alignment.

3. Apply adhesive
Apply the construction or tile adhesive evenly to the back of the stone slab. Observe the manufacturer's instructions regarding the application rate.

4. Attach the plate
Press the stone slab firmly into the marked position and align it using a spirit level. If necessary, secure it with spacers or tape until the adhesive has dried sufficiently.

5. Observe drying time
Allow the adhesive to cure completely (see manufacturer's instructions). Avoid vibrations during the drying time.

Display with gallery stand

The wooden gallery stand allows for flexible placement of your natural stone slab without drilling.

Construction:

  1. Assemble the individual parts of the gallery stand. The parts are designed to hold together without glue, simply by slotting them together.
  2. Carefully place the stone slab in the holder of the stand.
  3. The angle of inclination of the gallery stand and the groove prevent the panel from tipping forward.

💡 Tip: The gallery stand is ideal for dressers, shelves, sideboard surfaces or the floor.

⚠️ Note: The gallery stand is made of waxed/oiled wood and is not suitable for permanent outdoor use.

Care & Safety Instructions

  • Weight: One stone slab (60 × 40 × 1 cm) weighs approximately 7.0 kg.
  • Load-bearing capacity: Ensure that the wall or surface can support the weight.
  • Cleaning: Use only a damp cloth, no harsh cleaning agents.
